There be dragons, Harry Potter!

What happened to Christmas and didn't I hear somebody saying something about a new year?  That's probably old news by now.  Ha!

I was going to write a few weeks ago.  Really.

Snort.

So you don't believe that, either?

Neither do I.

Ok.  Try this.  I was going to write about Lance.  You know who I'm talking about.  I was to going to write but then everybody said it all before I got a round tuit.

Hee Hee.

It just gets better and better.

So we brought in a new year and I went to Disney World!  Now that's more like it.  Me, Hubby, and a gazillion college-age kids from Brazil.  We also visited Universal and the Wonderful Wizarding World of Harry Potter.    Evil Twin has a crush on Draco Malfoy and likes to poke fun at Hermione.   I nearly fed her to the dragon.

What?

Oh, you mean the dragon on the ride wasn't real?

Hum....

This one was real, though.  He looks rather relaxed, doesn't he?

The cat did not approve of us leaving him.  He scolded us all evening the day we returned.  I think someone told him we were visiting mice and would bring him a snack.  Sigh.  That would be Evil Twin.  I told her in no uncertain terms were we feeding Mickey or Minnie to the cat.

I guess it's time to settle into this new year and do great things.  Just one day at a time, right?

I'm sure cat wouldn't be happy if you brought that dragon home! And Evil Twin would find ways of torturing all of you with it...lol!
Glad to see you're back safely (for now)

One day at a time...for sure. Happy New Year! Glad you're back.

Evil Twin is a buzz kill and other thing kill, too.

Animals don't like to be left behind.
Our dog was pissed at us for several days after we got back from Flordia.

Cats. What can I say? I don't envy you a bit. Condolences.

Mice. They sometimes creep into my cave when I am hibernating. But even worse are the Chipmunks. Curl up in my fur, sometimes right under my chin. But they're so fast, I've never been able to catch one, even if we were both sound asleep the moment before I moved.

Blessings and Bear hugs.

@Collette - Thanks. Home is wear the heart (and fur) is!

@Lauren - ET has been soothed and is no longer talking of kidnapping dragons to torture us. She's been quiet, though. I wonder what she is up to....

@Rob-bear - Those pesky chipmunks! Ugh. They would make a nice snack during hibernation I'm sure. Sigh.

I saw a show about those dragons. They kill people, which kind of surprised me. They don't look as horrible as a crocodile. What a fun vacation!

Yep, you missed Christmas and New Years. New Years Eve for me was hearing the local teenagers setting off firecrackers and then the local dogs going crazy. It was very exciting!

Yikes!

I'm such a bad blog reader these days!

However, I am sore jealous that you went to Disney World!

Sore!

But I'm glad you stayed away from those pesky dragons.

I'm sure Oreo is glad too. He just doesn't realize it! *smile*

I've tried taking it more than one day at a time, but it's damnably hard.

Oh, and I'm jealous that you go to somewhere. Anywhere. I feel trapped here in Colorado.

@Belle- That dragon wasn't very scary, laying there asleep in the sun!

@Quirky - Disney is such a magical place. I hope you can get there soon. I'll even sent the cat with you!

@Mike - I wouldn't mind being "stuck" in Colorado!

I need a nice warm rock like that to lie on. And someone to bring margaritas!
