No Need for Pest Control Around Here

Oh, wait!  Hey Evil Twin, wait for ME!

What IS it, Oreo?

You guys are writing about creepy-crawlies.  I want to join in.

Oreo, that was yesterday's topic.

Huh?

I'm an expert on arachnoids.

It's arachnids, Oreo.  Just call them spiders, 'K?

Anyway, they are fun.  I like to chase them and lick them.  When they stop moving, I swallow them.

GINORMOUS garden spider might eat Oreo

Ok, Oreo, that's enough.  Reffie doesn't like it when you kill things.  On second thought, just keep on talking.  I like watching Reffie turn green.

Gulp.

Whoa!  Good job, Oreo.  What kind of critter was that?

Huh?

Zzzzzzzz.

Spiders was the topic of the day for 6/5/12.  Check my sidebar for the latest topics and writers participating in the month-long meme.  They are a group of talented folks!

You're in deep trouble, Reffie, with ET and Oreo teaming up. LOL!

Bear is not the smartest critter in the bush, but I, too, sense a certain undercurrent to this, that may leave Reffie sidelined by OC and ET.

You're right on,Lauren!

Poor Reffle; left right out. (Good play in football; not so good with cats.)

I hate spiders almost as much as I hate snakes! LOL.

I rarely eat the black and yellow spiders anymore...too spicy.

@Laruen - Hum...maybe that is why Reffie is hiding. We can't find her.

@Rob-bear - Bears eat fish. Bears are smart.

@Constant - Ooh, strings are snakes around here. Fun!

@lottajoy - More for me!

LOL! That's a good one. I used to be so terrified of spiders. I spray a whole can of Raid on one -- drowning it and asphyxiating myself in the process. Then I'd wait for the ants to cart away its poison-soaked corpse. They never did. Now I just slip a cup over one, shove a piece of cardboard underneath and walk them outside.

I recognize that spider!
Lunchtime!

Yuck! You reminded me how much Ernie loves crickets! He won't even kill them before he starts eating them! It's so gross! Of course, when there is a fly in the house he won't even give it a helpful swat! It's a good thing I love him so much!

@Jayne - Thanks. I like to get them back outside, too.

@Briana - I have not seen them around in a couple of years. Sigh.

@Nora - Sorry. Cats can be useless sometimes but yeah, they are furry and lovable at other times!

GAG HATE spiders....hard to believe the kitties will eat them...I am always afraid they will get stung on the nose.

The other night I was in bed and Phoenix was playing with something that had crawled under the sheepskin rug - she was persistent so I checked it out - damn scorpion! It has been so dry here the creepy-crawlies are coming inside for moisture! EEEKKKK! Excy killed it and Phoenix got all the treats her rapidly expanding tummy could hold for being mommy's hero....

My dog eats ants and she can catch a fly in mid flight. Very talented. But she's allergic to bees, which makes life interesting.
You really need to get control of the cast of characters you have over there, especially when they start communicating with my cast.
