You Are My Sunshine, My Only Sunshine

Uh huh.  If you believe that,  for only $19.99, you, too, can have this adorable beast to keep you warm on these chilly spring nights:

 Don't EVEN think about it.

Um....Reffie, that thing doesn't look very friendly.  It looks more like me when I have PMS.

Yeah, well.  He is what he is and he just puked so get over it already.  I'm going on with today's post, 'K?

Suit yourself.

I know you are probably tired of me talking about awards.

My apologies.

SNORT!

Give me a break!  I'm trying to keep their attention for a few more minutes.

...

If someone takes the time and effort to give me blog bling, I want to take the time to thank them for it.  I know I'm slow to do this sometimes and for that, I really am sorry!

I received the Sunshine Award from a relatively new-to-me blogger Ivy over at Unscriptedlife.com:

What a sweetheart she is.  Her multi-featured site has uplifting offerings of humor and inspiration.  It's just what you need to start or finish your day. Please visit her and leave witty comments from all of your personas.

What?  You mean most of you don't have multiple personas?

Oh.

Momma told me there would be days like this...

Anyway, I'd like to spread some sunshine to some of you northerners.  May this burst of orange bring you warmth and awaken you from your long hibernation:

Michiganer Collette, from My Babcia's Babushka
Mainah Deb, from Debbie Does Drivel
Upstate New Yorker No-Cats-Lady Larew, from How to Become a Cat Lady Without the Cats

With a little sunshine and a little spring in my step, I leave you this white delight from my neighbor's yard:

Although we are expecting a chilly weekend, spring is upon us!

I once bought my FIL a shirt that said: Cat: the other white meat

yeah he loved it

@Nooter - Be careful. You will hurt Sun's feelings and it might hide for days and you'll be cold.

@Honeypie - Thanks. Ah, but the "demon" eyes made my day!

@Jean - LOL!

Your cat has eyes like Satan. So cute!

Uh oh, if I didn't know better, I'd ask, "What kind of hellcat is that?".

Congratulations, Mz. Sunshine!!! Have a great weekend. :-)

@Ziva - Thanks. Sometimes we think he is Satan!

@Me-Me - Thanks. Yeah, that thing came straight out of Hell.

@Marvin - Ahs, you are so sweet! Thank you!

Ohhh. The Bradford Pear tree is beautiful. They are just now budding here.

Also, can I have that cat. Such a beauty and I'm not even a cat person. I love those wild eyes. They look mine when I'm angry.

Congrats you sunny geek, you! You are everyone's sunshine except for Evil Twin, who may actually be that devil cat in this post.

Thank you for the gorgeous flowering tree! When will it get here? It's gonna look great in my front yard and now my skinhead neighbor won't be able to see me!

It's been gorgeous here the past week, with tomorrow having the possibility of actually hitting 70 degrees! Thank you Al Gore! You watch, the freakin' blizzard will hit here in April.

Not a cat person, not at all.

But congrats on your bazillionth blog award. You've deserved every single one!

@Leeuna - Sure. Come and get the beast and it's yours!

@Deb - One tree coming up. Yes, you will have a blizzard in April. It's supposed to snow here tomorrow (maybe).

@Chris - Thanks. Meow.

Congratulations!!!! It's nice that the sun is finally out and shining down upon us. Though poor Reffie a.k.a. cranky cat doesn't think so.

As I sit here commenting on your Sunshine award (congratulations!) and spring photo, it's blizzarding outside. Life is so cruel sometimes....

ReformingGeek said...

@Lauren - And the sun leaves us so quickly! DANG!

@Mike - I heard about your blizzard. I'm so sorry. It's just so wrong.

Hey. You did something different with your blog...not quite sure what it is but I like it!

My two cats have Satan eyes too. It's why I give them whatever they want. I'm scared of them.

My dog has the same freaky look in pictures... but one eye always comes out red (she has one blue eye and one brown). Just sick the cat on your evil twin.

Thanks for the kind words! And keep up the good work!

ReformingGeek said...

@CatLady - I can't believe you don't want the kitty.

@meleah - Yep!

@Marvin - Nag, nag, nag. ;-)

@Random - Thanks. Hum...I moved most of my awards to a separate page. Yeah. Cats are scary, especially in the middle of the night.

@Ivy You are welcome! I think Cat just bit Evil Twin. Oops.

I have to admit, I've always enjoyed your "Evin Twin" content on here. For what it's worth, I have an "Evil Craig" Mii on our Wii. LOL. Happy belated St. Patrick's Day!!!
