Something Wicked this Way Scares..

In honor of the season, a few decorations:

Ms. ScarecrowGeek looks quite cozy sunning herself in my window.

I can't believe Halloween is coming soon.  Do you have a costume yet?

Oh dears!  It seems Ms. ScarecrowGeek has disappeared.

Has she been Scare-napped?  If so, I hope I can afford the ransom.  You guys will help me, right?

RIGHT?

Sigh.

I wonder if Evil Twin has something to do with this.  I just saw her headed to her closet with some duct tape and a pair of scissors.

Maybe the garden gnomes from next door have her in their lair, slowly eating her stitch by stitch.

Hum....

We have a crew of workers installing new water pipes in our neighborhood.  Maybe she levitated out of the window and fell into one of their pits, scarred (maybe I meant scared?) for life dead from viewing too many visible butt cracks?

Perhaps one of the hawks grabbed her for their nest.   If I look closely, I may find an eyeball or two scattered about the yard.

Tisk.  Tisk.

No.  I'm sure it was Nutjob, Deb's infamous dragon-toothed beast she calls a dog.  It devours Jehovah's in a single gulp.  Poor Ms. ScarecrowGeek wouldn't have a chance.

I hope Nutjob poops fabric for a week!

But where was Nutjob when the Mormons came to the door a few days ago?

Just kidding.  They were such nice young men.

Now WHAT is that NOISE?  I think it's coming from Evil Twin's closet.  It's funny that it started just after those nice young man knocked on the door.....

Uh oh. NutJob has been burping a lot lately...and I did find a piece of straw in the fur under her chin, right under a piece of paper with the words "Watch Tower" on it.

I think Evil Twin and NutJob may be in kahoots with each other. I'll let you know if NutJob coughs up any evidence.

Deb said...

...too scared to spell. Make that "cahoots"...I think. Pfft! You knew what I meant!

@CatLady - Uh oh. You mean Quirky wouldn't be offering me Diet Dr Pepper?

@Quirky - I think my neighbor gnomenapped some of VE's gnomes.

@Deb - Good Luck with the puking and the pooping.

@Marv - You are such a nut. Evil Twin would really like you. ;-)

I hope you find her!

Can you imagine the things that are in Evil Twin's closet? I hope that's the sound of one of my bill collectors screaming in there! (-:

Your window and yard are beautiful! Which makes them a particularly evil trap, of course, like a Venus Fly Trap, beautiful yet deadly. Beware!

@AmyLK - I am currently stalking Evil Twin.

@MrsBlogalot - I wear ear plugs.

@MikeWJ - Thanks. Yeah, there is no telling what is hiding out there!

Ruh-Roo. Evil Twin is at it again. Sad news about scarecrow. I hate that she was eaten by Nutjob. (Poor Deb will have to clean it up now) Those gnomes scared me really bad...I'm going home now.

I really hope Ms. ScarecrowGeek hasn't been kidnapped because I can't afford to help you with the ransom. I wouldn't worry, though, Evil Twin probably ate her as a light snack.

Nope, I don't have any money to help out...the "check engine" light came on in my car yesterday...sigh.

And no costume yet for me, either. Emma wants to go as a horse rider...go figure!

@Leeuna - I'm sorry you couldn't stay longer but I understand. Those gnomes are like clowns. EEEK!

@Ziva - Evil Twin is in league with the gnomes.

@Jacki - Cars are money pits. Good Luck with the horse rider costume. ;-)

RG, I was stunned to see you off the radar from 9/26 to 10/3. I think that is truly a first for you.

I hope this finds you doing well and returning to blog land very soon.

Oh dogs... You know if I had read this post this morning I would have nothing to add. But my dog finally contributed to the household. We got our first batch of stink bugs, and she just gaubled them right up! My reaction: Hmm... This dog can do tricks.

Oh. No. Evil Twin is in cahoots with the lawn gnomes: Moe, Larry, and Curly, a dangerous bunch. You know what Moe is capable of. It's no longer safe for your neighbors to leave their homes. Though, it's not safe for you to stay at home. Get out before ET duct tapes you to the ceiling.

are you sure it didn't fall behind the shelf? cuz really, it doesn't look all that wicked to me

ReformingGeek said...

@Ivy - Good Dog! GOOD DOG!

@Lauren - I need some scissors...I think I have plaster in my butt crack.

@Jean - But Jean, the thievery is wicked!

I'm scared to even think where Miss Scarecrow went? If her disappearance had anything to do with the three gnomes, it will most definitely end badly.

I'm so freaked out by gnomes, I wish I wouldn't have seen this so close to bedtime.

OK, first off: you live next door to TRIPLET GNOMES?!? They scare the crap out of me. Second: My hypothesis -- dingo.

My daughter chose to dress up like Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz this year. I'll buy my normal - maniac killer in a convict costume. LOL. My favorite thing to do on Halloween is give out candy. I have crappy candy for the punks who shouldn't be trick-or-treating or for kids with stupid costumes. And I have popular candy (and lots of it) for the creative costumes and little kids.
