The Long Nose Meets the Sun

Liar, Liar, Pants on Fire!

What?

OUCH.  OUCH.

Ahhhhh.  Thanks, Evil Twin, for turning the hose on me.  This time it was the right thing to do.

So what is this about lies?

Why is my nose growing?

Leeuna is on to me.  She gave me this award:

I will admit to the occasional little white lie, fib, or mild exaggeration, but BIG FAT LIES?

Never.

Well, almost never.

But maybe one of these is a WHOPPER:

1.  I played trombone.
2.  I am missing a body part.
3.  I breathe fire.
4.  I can stand on my hands.
5.  I can program a computer but I have no idea how Hubby connected our entertainment system.
6.  I was invited to an art school one summer.
7.  I think I may have been a pig in a former life.  I sure do like bacon.

Which one do you think is an untruth?

Also, every time I visit Ziva's blog, I hope she has cookies for me but last time I visited, I got a load of sunshine instead:

Although not very edible, it IS bright and shiny and I like that.  Thank you, Ziva!

I was out in the yard over the weekend and was about to yell at Evil Twin for digging AGAIN (I think she is hiding alien artifacts) but then I looked a little closer..

The fact that you can program a computer proves you could have never been a pig in a past life...love of bacon or not (-:

The untruth is most definitely #5. You can program a computer AND connect an entertainment center.

And I've seen you breathe fire.

So it's gotta be #5! hee hee hee

Congrats on all the awards!

I'm with Quirky. You lied on #5. You eat enough spicy food to breath fire, and a triathlete can probably stand on her hands, so ...

Fun stuff - kudos on the awards!

You never stop reeling in the bling! congrats!

I cannot see ms tortoise. The bifocals must need adjusting.

hm. Which body part...?

#5. Baby if you don't know how to hook up an entertainment system after programming a computer, then you need to learn.

I'm interested in the body part too. Which body part are you missing?

I'd say #2. (We all breathe a little fire in the morning before the toothbrush hits the enamel - or is that just me?)

Hey Reffie, I think all seven were truths. You can do anything. Well, maybe number two is kinda iffy. You're too great to be missing anything. You're still our hero, even if it is true. Oh, and I found the tortoise. Yay!
PS. I fixed my "comments" thing on my blog so it's working fine now.

Oh! Congrats on your awards!!

I was going to guess #3, but from these comments - apparently YOU CAN breathe fire!

So, now, Im going to guess #5!

Oooh a liar award! Nice!

Hey, 'creative writing' makes for fun reading. :)

I don't think you ever played the trombone. I just can't see it.

@Honeypie - Beggars can't be choosers.

@Lindzena - Absolutely.

@Random Chick - Hee Hee.

I was going to say #1 but everyone else said #5 so I am switching my answer and going with #5. Unless I can get a life line?

Uh.I don't think pigs like bacon. But, they like making bacon. Is there a video of you breathing fire? I'd like to see it.

I was never good at Highlights or finding stuff. Could never find the lion in the tree or Nina in the cartoon. So, I sure as hell couldn't find the tortoise.

I bet it was Evil Twin's doing.

Congratulations on the awards.

Reforming Geek, I ran in my first marathon! May 16th. Finished. Great feeling of accomplishment. Couldn't wait to tell you. Sorry that I've been offline for that long.

It's no joke that you are the most award-winning blogger I know. LOL. That's awesome. I always check out the blog of the person who gave you the award too.

ReformingGeek said...

@Jen - I can throw you a life ring. ;-)

@Lauren - I think pigs like mud. What? You no see tortoise? ;-(

@Constant - That's awesome. Congrats!

Deb said...

I've seen you breathe fire while woofing a popover in sub-zero temperatures while in the Great White North, so I KNOW that's true. I think #7 is the whopper. You were NOT a pig.

Tgoette said...

Congrats on the awards, Reffie! I find it hard to believe you ever played the trombone, though. You are way too pretty to be a trombone player! Bacon rocks!

ReformingGeek said...

@Deb - Gulp. Burp. I love me some popovers! All will soon be revealed.

@Tgoette - Thanks and thanks. ;-) All will soon be revealed.

I believe you breathe fire, but there is no way you played the trombone.

Ziva said...

Everything but #1 seems perfectly reasonable to me. ;) But I think you did some "creative writing" when you said there was some sort of creature in that picture. I can't find it!

K A B L O O E Y said...

OK, you've said before you can stand on your hands, no geek would admit to being baffled by the a/v equipment unless it were true, tonsils would count as missing, the fire-breathing thing is easy to figure, ms. texas, I don't know what kind of creature that is, but don't really care, I concede. And trombone? Why not? Unless they don't scale 'em down like the violin I tortured in grade school. And art school? Why not? I once was offered a "partial scholarship" for drawing a bird for that "art school" that advertised in the back of magazines. But wait, anyone could truthfully say they MAY have been a pig in a former life -- who could refute that?

But in your case, that'd be a cannibalistic pig who covets bacon. Scaaaaaary. Congrats on the awards in any case.

ReformingGeek said...

@Nanny - ARe you sure?

@Ziva - Nope. That creature is in the photo.

@Kablooey - Thanks. I'm so sorry about that cannibalistic pig. ;-)
