28 Days of Writing Challenge - Gouda

"Just be", said the Buddha.  Actually, I have no idea if he said that but I love that expression.  I say it to Cat and Evil Twin frequently but they must be deaf or brain-damaged as there is no change in their behavior.

This Buddha guy figured it out.  It was a struggle but he found enlightenment and peace and before his statue could blink, he had Groupies.  Even in current times, he has lots of followers, unlike Gouda, who only has a few followers, primarily a Canadian named Nicky who came up with this crazy writing challenge.  Poor Gouda (and Nicky) must feel so under-appreciated.  On the other hand, I bet I could down some wine with Gouda and be perfectly at peace.

Click here for more Gouda writing slices.

Peace out.

I once encountered a Buddha-like fellow selling hot dogs. I asked me to me me one with everything.

Perfect, Reffie! From now on I'm going to just BE with my gouda and wine and forget about the 30M2DoW.

So, is Nicky a Goudist?

@noname - You are one with the hot dog.

@Paula - I like that idea.

@jayne - Yes, please.

@Ziva - Be-utiful.

@launghingmom - I think she must be - much better than nudist, right?

My cats wouldn't eat the Gouda I bought the other week. I didn't either. Never trust a food your cat won't eat as your cats eat dead things they find outside. If they won't eat it, something's probably wrong with it...unless it's a veggie or something.

It my be Gouda, but there are only so many ways you can slice it, or your writing, for that matter.

A post per day for 28 days? That sounds a lot like work; too much for a Bear in the middle of winter.

Blessings and Bear hugs!

Gouda is completely under-appreciated. Do you know how hard it is to "just be" Gouda? I'm telling you, Buddha had it easy!

Nice job, Reffie. Glad you decided to play again. :-)

That post was enlightened.

You did a very gouda job coming up with a funny post about a of cheese :-)

Ah, Gouda the cheese God. I knew there was a reason I liked Eastern religion.

This is kind of scary, but Lurch suggested that Buddha and Gouda might be one today. I laughed at him and thought about calling the mental health agency, but then you talk about Buddha and Gouda in your story. Now I'm afraid. Very afraid.

Buddha, Gouda
Gouda, Buddha
And I'm afraid I'm a bit of a devout follower of Gouda myself. :)

I've said this before, but I really need a drink. Or 28.

that made me chuckle!

This post was concise, but packed with significance. Buddha would be proud. Gouda, on the other hand, is weeping in its curdled shoes.

Rumor has it Buddha like cheese, too, especially Gouda.
