28 Days of Writing - Damn

Dam.

What a silly topic. Maybe I should write about the Hoover Dam.

Maybe not.   Oh, beavers.  I'll write about beavers.

The animals, of course.  What were YOU thinking?

A picture tells a good story so I went searching for a damn, er, dam photo.  Then I remembered our hike to Beaver Dam Lake at Yellowstone.  There were no beavers (or bears!) and I didn't even photograph the remnants of a dam, damn it.  Then I saw this photo from Firehouse Falls:

Yeah, that's right.  There's a dam.   Hubby said those folks didn't have any darn damn sense.  That was a steep incline.  I hope they counted all the kiddos when they got back to their car.

For more hell and damnation, go to Nicky's place.

Damn fine post there, Reffie. Damn fine.

Almost did a dam one myself - only no one provided a photo of Turtle Log Bridge. Don't worry about understanding what I said...I didn't write it anyway. ;)

You shouldn't swear! It sounds like hell and doesn't do a damn bit of good. (There's a tip for reforming and rich!)

No Bears! No Beavers! What kind of place is that you're picturing? Obviously not very natural or civilized. The two most important animals, and zero representation. How about wolves? Any wolves left?

Blessings and Bear hugs!

Wait, I'm confused now. I came here for beavers. Where are all the beavers?

You know, I thought about writing about beavers, but my thoughts got all dammed up.

Damn, Dufus took my line! Oh well. I agree with your husband, that is not a place I'd bring my kids. Well, maybe my kids, yeah. But definitely not other people's kids.

You've still got it, kid! I'm laughing out loud at your post! I'm also here to thank you for stopping by after all these years to visit my blog. It was awfully nice of you, and I really appreciate it. Not sure if I've got more writing in me, but it was so wonderful to see your familiar name in the comment section after all this time. Thank you!
